The Life Of Trees
I have always been moved by contrasts and get joy from painting them. In these paintings I play with real and imagined landscapes in which soft and loose skies are cut by hard and tight lines that form trees.
I call this series "The Life of Trees". Optical and emotional, intuitive and calculated, these paintings have evolved from action, contemplation and reaction.
My influences range from ancient to contemporary, across the globe and in my backyard. I have been painting most of my life.
